why not just notch the cab where its hitting, thats what most guys with bagged trucks do when the drive shaft rubs.

= Metal Matrix Composite. IIRC, it blends aluminum w/ carbon. Costs less than a full carbon. There's a place round here that does em. I imagine they're still in biz, unless the economy took them out too. IIRC, they build all kinds of shafts: steel, al, MMC, & carbon.

The ds i have will still not work. I have already notch the cab the only thing i could do is tunnel it. I will not have that much time in a 2 piece.

YA...... man i was just asking for info if any one had tried this. But thanks. And the steel ds works for people, but not all. Its not a hp thing its the high rpm the ds is spinning.
