Default U Joint Help?

So I am finishing up my rear end rebuild, and I think I know the answer, but a second opinion is great. I accidentally pulled the caps off the rear U Joint on the driveshaft. I put the caps back on, hoping I didn’t mess the needle bearings up. So what I am dealing with is that one tiny needle bearing is stuck on the end of the cap. What I’m wondering is if I can carefully place them back in order and if my U Joint will work fine. If that doesn’t work, I’ll replace the U Joint which is near 30$ but that’s an extra trip into town.

I appreciate any help!

Yes, you should be able to do that.

You'll probably have to slide the last one into place alongside the others, endwise; it shouldn't be able to just mash down in among them.

Okay sweet. I have a press if I needed, but I was hoping not to have to do that. I don’t expect it to be crushed, I simply placed it back on and tried to push it with my hand, no hammers or anything. Thanks for the added boost of insight!
