The Bear Trac and ValueTrac look to be literally the exact same thing, did a google search and they use the same stock photos. Valuetrac and the Yukon Bear Trac. Interesting

my buddy in MI is running one in his rcsb 5.3 with 4.10s with no issues. ill probably end up with one too

Thats me...value trac from rons...ive only put 2000 miles on it so far but 1990 of them have been burnouts and holeshots...no problems yet

My Tru-Trac makes my truck understeer (push) worse than it ever did with the G80. Nature of the beast I guess. I wish I would've gone with the Eaton.

Parking lots are more of a PITA than they ever have been. With the SC3000 converter, I must give throttle to turn sharp into a parking space. This makes the rear diff lock, and makes it harder to turn sharp. So I have to give it even more gas.... Then, since the rear is "locked", the rear tires squeal while I'm turning. Plus the exhaust is louder than ever. I'm sure people think I'm an idiot when they watch me park.

Agreed. I've exploded a G80 so badly that a piece of it went through the diff cover and poured the oil out of it. I replaced it with a Detroit TT and have blown another ring and pinion but the TT was still in the AV the day that I sold it and working flawless.

This is not where you want to skimp.
