Default vette servo

ok guys, this may be a dumb question., i asked it in the wrong section so im gona ask it here. i dont really know much about the servo's so im looking for help on this.

i found this one on ebay. it says its for the 4L60, 4L60E, so im assuming it'll work right in my truck, 02 sierra., my main question is 2 things. 1. is this ALL the parts needed to replace the stock servo. and 2. what all does the servo do? i keep reading about 4th gear servo's and all. does the vette servo help alot or wat? whats the main gain? catch gears quicker? catch speed quicker? , thanks in advance for any help!

do a search in the forum for Corvette Servo.
the first couple threads that come up answer all your questions. sometimes you gotta do the work to get your answers.

What he said. Easy install and costs about $16 on ebay. Might be the best mod for the money. The reason it works, in my understanding, is that the cup in the servo is smaller than the stock unit and therefore fills up with fluid faster, applying pressure faster, resulting in faster shifts.
