Default vibration after 80mph

Ok first off hit some wood awhile back and it took out tail housing on trans, drive shaft, since then had all that fixed but the vibration is still there, could it be trans or rearend??

to help some the wood hit right at the rear of the driveshaft, thanks for any help, going to try and find a shop just not sure what kinda shop to look for ahahaa.

I'm gonna post a pic of something when I get back home (in New Orleans right now). Can't say that it's the source of my vibration issue that is noticeable above 85 mph, but certainly something else to check. I need not say have the yoke/pinion angles checked. That's the first thing I'm gonna have checked in about a week or so.

After re-reading your post, are you saying that you've always had vibration issues?

No the vibration started after the wood hit the driveshaft.

I never thought to try that. Hmm... At least that'll tell you that vibration could be from the rear up to the planetary (I think). Still a lot to consider though.

Oh... (v8) the reason I asked was because of my interpretation of the first sentence in your first post.

u sure the shaft is balanced right and all? maybe even u bent a rim or something hitting that wood if it fucked ur shaft. Maybe check balance on ur wheels 2? possible impact break on the inside wall?
