Parish is running a 2500 case which is probably the NVG261. The lighter duties (1500's) is the NVG246(newer) or NP241(older up to 2000).

junk yard. get the 3/4 and/or(same) 1 ton version.

obviously the hp matters, especially a crazy amount like 1000hp...but it's the torque and heat that will destroy these units.
