Question Want to change gearing(3.42 - 4.10's), labor cost?

I want to change out the 3.42's to 4.10's in my 05 Sierra Z71. What is a fair price on install? For the ring and pinion and install kit, I've gotten a quote of about 350 for each(front and rear), OEM gears. Now, for this place to install them, they want 450 for the rear and 900 for the front. Does that seem high or about right? I know the front is a bitch to do, and I could do the rear, then take it somewhere to do the front, but what has anyone else found out for a labor cost on changing gears out?
Thanks!
Steve

I've heard over on the Avalanche boards $1200 for front and rear on a 4WD is about right.

Well shoot, that ain't good. I had contemplated getting another truck, and have priced out a 2500HD w/6.0(I had an 02 Chevy 2500HD w/6.0) and I will lose approx 3000 on the deal, but I might wait until after the GM employee price for everyone deal is over. I can still get that price promo or not, so maybe I'll just bite the bullet and do this in December or January.
These 3.42's just ain't cutting it with 1500 lbs of lumber in the bed.
