Default Want info on 4:10 gears?

I drive a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L 4-spd trans. I was wondering if I can get some info on 4:10 gears. I wanna change mine from the factory ones. Put in mind I have 295/30-26 tires and rims and only added K&N Air Intake and Flowmasters to my truck, other than that its stock. My vision is add 4:10 gears, Longtube Headers, and Custom Tune. Good idea or bad???

That's a 33" tire, but the wheel/tire combo is going to be very heavy. I think 4.56 gears would be a better choice.

Beyond that, headers, a baby cam (212/218), and a custom tune would all be advisable.

Are you sure you want those 26's? Have you ever driven a truck or SUV with 26's on it?

I've got 4.11's in mine as well. It definitely makes it a bit more fun.
