weird upshift

Default weird upshift

i threw code p0748 pc solinoid electrical dont know why and how. it happin right after my transgo shift kit and vac mod was installed (bypass valve installed also) now the truck when its in 4th and reaches about 15p vaccum it likes to downshift. is the solinoid causing this or what? what can i do?

Usually this is because a solenoid went bad. Just replace it and it will be fine.

your code is typical...reason is your solenoid isnt htere anymore. it was replaced with the vaccum modulator. i just turned off the SES light for that code and im fine. as for the downshifting you might have a vaccum leak somewhere for it ot do that. remember your line pressure is now controled off vaccum where before it was off the ECU

ok thats what i thought it might be a leak somewhere or needs to be adjusted. but it startin happing after they installed the shift kit and vac mod what do u think they did wrong besides a leak. n e thing with the torque converter?
