Well i would go to the track alot more often if others would go tooo, sucks going by yourself... I really enjoy low and midrange power, I rarely ever go up to redline when i daily drive, usually it is just a good mid rpm burst of accelleration up to 4k or so....

I have to ask, what is the point of such a steep gear if you cant put the power to the ground? 1st gear is useless in your truck anyway unless youre worried about track performance but then again how often do you go to the track? If track performance is of concern then Id do 4.30s for sure but if it was me Id run 3.73s since you run a short tire at the strip anyway and youre going to be making plenty of power later on.
just hook up a 200 shot and call it a day

I agree with cody on this one. I guess im also biased because i have 3.73s and do more street racing than track racing. But at the track the smaller tire will help. I spin about 2100 at 70 with a 29 inch tire and 3.73s i would hate to imagine 4.30s. Then again, i do alot of highway driving to/from work and class.
I think its a win/win honestly and IMO i'd stay with 4.10s

I like my 4.10s for off the line, they work great with the weight I have to get moving. For you, I'd say 3.73s, for the same reasons others have said. One, more useful on the street, traction will be easier to find, two, with the setup you're building and the tires you have, 3.73s will be plenty helpful for off the line/low/mid torque and acceleration and three, you'll appreciate the lower rpms at cruise when you don't wanna play
