Default Well, I'm getting my stepside bed, but have some Q's

I finally found a local guy to trade me his stepside for my fleet, I know about swapping the gas filler tubes etc., but what about the tailight harnesses? Do I have to take the harness completely out of both trucks, or is there a plug that i can just disconnect and pull the bed with the bulbs still in the tailights?

Also, his truck has the bumper, so I have to buy a roll pan allover again, no big deal, if I'm correct, his bumper has to come off first, before the bed, but what about the reciever hitch? Thanks

The two bolts up under the center of the hitch have to come out, if you have enough hands and are careful you can pull it off with bumper on. The harness has a junction block it plugs into near the driver side facing backwards.

don't put a rollpan on the stepside.. Keep the bumper. It should be a easy swap
