Default well would it make any difference????

well i had some noise coming out of the rear end right after i did the posi swap and gears swap well i didnt pay attenttion to it cause the 0truck came with that rear end and it was a 14 bolt and it did kind of the same noise (does the 14 bolt rear end from the vortec max usually whine???) so after 3 months it got worser and worser so opened the rear and found out that the carrier bearings and pinion bearings were messed up it even had pieces of metal inside the rear end and changed them out........... well raced a truck few days ago and beat him by half of a truck would i get to beat him more this time????

So, let me decipher your post...

You are asking if your truck will be faster now that your rear end is fixed?

If so, then my answer would be most likely not.

Also, no hard feelings but I agree.

do you really need to start a new thread about a broken part being fixed making your truck faster? I would have to say a working axle is better then a broken one....
