i have a 4l60e and wondering the best aftermarket trans to buy...

4l80e strongest one, for late model, but a th400 is a badass, just no overdrive..

well a couple of my buddys have had 2 and 3 flt level 5... all are broke right now... what is the power loss between th400 and a 4l60e...and a 4l60e to a 4l80e...dont they have 70e and 75e???

th400 and 4l80 are the same, but 80e has overdrive. You will gain some weight and lose some power, but a nearly stock one could hold up to 500hp without destroying itself.

What are your goals, are you moving on to Forced induction, Nitrous, or staying NA?
what hp do you want to be at, and are you going to the track with it, what are you et goals?

thinking about a 414 or a 434 with a f-1... mostly d/d and some side by side speeding...

With what your planning any variation of a 60e will destroy itself at part throttle. I would look into a FLT 4l80e for sure, do it once

i dont trust flt seen five changed in a year in three trucks..two guys twice going on three times..one guy once going on two times...not the brand i will buy... what is a 200r4 never heard of it and how much hp are they rated to...
