Default What Brake pads are good?

I'm replacing my brakes in the rear and maybe the front for the first time since I bought the truck and was wondering what pads are good for the money I was thinking about EBC green stuff pads or Pro Stop ceramic or Raybestos ceramic they all have the split in the middle to release brake gases and dust there all from pepboys

Ceramics in general will keep the dust down. I have used Raybestos Ceramic, Wagner Thermoquiet Ceramic, Napa Ceramic, and lastly Parise Dyno Ceramics, my favorites. All of the above mentioned brands dusted very little. In order of stopping performance best to last, Praise, Raybestos, Napa, and Wagner. I wouldn't say there was a significant difference felt in the last 3, Raybestos has always been one of my favorite companies. Praise Dyno are comparable for OEM pricewise but waaay better performance IMO.

I went with the Hawk pads all around, HPS pads. The stopping over stock is like a night and day difference, but with 6,000 lbs..I need to upgrade and besides it was time for a break job anyway. I went ahead and replaced the rotors as well with some Diamond slotted from SP as well. I really like this combo...I may upgrade the break calipers as well...but at this point the mod list is too long..LOL

Like Bish mentioned, the Praise pads don't dust very much at all, and the stopping perfermance has definitely increased over stock. I also have Praise Dyno cryogenically treated slotted rotors front and rear.
