I had a set of yukons installed in my 01 by a reputable shop. They had all kind of issues getting setting them using normal methods. They ended up calling yukon and they told them how to set them. The shop didn't believe it was that simple of a setup but it worked and got the pattern right the first shot and were quiet as a mouse. I ran them for 100K miles with no problems.

I picked up the truck this morning. The installer said they had to try about 8 different times to get a decent pattern, and even then they didn't like it. But I took the truck and its just as quite as it was before. But my speedo is off by about 10 mph. My updated tune should get here today. Cant wait to get back on the road.

That's what they said. Took em 8 tries to get it close. I drove the truck home is was a nice smooth ride. No noise other than the exhaust.

It had 3.73 before. I just got the updated tune in about an hour ago. I only went for a short test drive and it does seem alittle more responsive. Ill do a before and after speedo comparison tonight when I get a chance.

I think they were telling you that, just because they didn't stock that particular brand..
