what to do to my suspension, give me some ideas...
ok i have the mcgaughys 2 inch drop spindles up front and 4 inch shackle drop in back... im looking to get better overall handiling characteristics. such as body roll, bucking (over the boucy highways here in CA), wheel hop, and anything else that i forgot to mention...
what would be a good set up... i was thinking hotchkis sway bars, and springs. but i couldnt find stock height springs on their website... i already have drop spindles and stock springs... i dont want or need lowering springs.
also could you point me in the right direction for some good shocks. i dont think i need adjustables, but i dont really know what im looking for.
what else can i do for the rear end is there something available like a pan hard bar like for the cars? maybe some traction bars... just shoot me some ideas im just in the brainstorming phase right now, im fairly new at this stuff.

Hotchkis makes sway bars for a 2/4 drop that should work with your kit and maintain the stock ride but improve cornering response.
KPComponents makes a pan hard rod. Any one who makes a 4 link suspension should also make a pan hard rod of some sort.
Calvert Racing makes traction bars to control wheel hop and to increase traction.
Mac's Springs has some info on Doetsch Tech shocks that will work with your lowered ride and help with your performace.
If you find that you are bottoming out the frame on the rear axle then get hold of McGaughys for a c-notch for your frame to increase your suspension travel.
There that ought to get you started.

I have a similar question about sources for shocks. I'm having a hard time finding front shocks for the '05 CCSB non-HD 1500. It has coil springs up front. Any suggestions? I've tried KYB, Rancho, and Bilstein - but no success...
