What exactly does the TCC do?
Im an auto dummy and dont know what the TCC is or does. I was changing some stuff in my tune for make way for a 2800 stall and built trans and was searching around and see some talk about changing the TCC apply/ release tables. I need to know what it does to be able to change it and what to look for.

On my truck atleast, 3rd and 4th lockup speeds are so close that it only locks in 4th even though it should lock in 3rd as well. But if I manually put it in 3rd, it will lock up.

Its actually a MPH based table and is set to release at 100% throttle and can be enabled "through the shifts".. this TCC stuff is new to me so maybe someone else has a better answer. I know you can command it locked.
