Smile What flex plate should i use

i have a 2004 silverado 4x4 with a popped engine.

the engine in my truck 4.8l with dished flexplate, the replacment engine is aparently a 5.3 with a stepped flex plate. should i use the dished or the stepped one?

thanks

I dont think one is "better" or any different other than appearence. I've broken a few of both LOL... but just stick with what you already have in the truck if its questionable.

or, just get an SFI approved flexplate and be done with it.
