I am about to embark on the task of changing my 3.42s to 3.73s. What are yall's suggestions on what brand to get and where the cheapest place to find them? Thanks

Personally, I'd go with 4.10's with that big of a tire and wheel combo...

another vote for 4.10's ive got richmonds in mine that i have beat to hell and back.. no noise either..

 

4.10s for sure man, and richmonds are what i went with.

 

Im on the same mission of changing gears the local shop guy i talked to said that only going up one stage you wont notice much of a difference for the money your spending but since i already have 3.73 any bigger than 4.10s would be way to much since i have stock tires i would never get traction but from what everyone has told 4.10 are a great choice so next week after my headers are installed then go in the gears best of luck to you my friend

 

I was thinkin about 4.10s but I travel too much to lose that much mpg. I will probably go with 4.10s when I get out of college. I was thinking about richmonds as well. Where is the most cost effective place to buy these?

 

Dude....4.10's for sure with a large tire combo that you have. I use Richmond in mine. But Yukon Gear is a damn fine gear!!

Ck out Randy's Ring and Pinion. Stick w/ a set of AAM (OEM) gears, dead quiet and every bit as strong as the Richmonds. With the 22's a set of 4.10's will be the equivalent of 3.73's w/ a stock diameter wheel/tire
