03 Tahoe on 22's sounds familar.... Looking at doing a gear swap soon too..... I get about 17mpg on the highway right now....with 4.10 that will probably drop to 14-15 and with 3.73 that will probably drop to 15-16. I currently have 3.42 which I have been told is my weak link for racing but what is your over all plan for the truck?

4.10s for N/A.. with the size of your rims and im guessing you have a 5.3... i would def go 4.10s with a N/A setup and they wont hurt you if you go FI.. except with traction on the street.. but thats fun.. haha... i love my 4.10s.. i gained .5 seconds at the track with the 4.10s back when i was a 4.8....

mine never shifts out of overdrive if im in cruise control over 60 MPH even if im going up a big bridge.... it pulls awesome in OD haha...

and to answer your ? the higher number gear is for low end.. they will help with around town gas mileage and may hurt highway MPG... the lower number gears are better for highway mileage... to a certain extent... if you have no power and cant push that high gear it still hurts MPG....

if i were you and you really are gonna put a blower on it i wouldnt go with a low end gear.... because like they said you are gonna have tons of torque and then with the high gear you will get good MPG on hwy...

so N/A i would go 4.10
Blower i would leave the 3.42s if thats what you have...

also id put an eaton LSD or a tru trac in there

+1 I forgot about the blower. If you really want to go with F/I you can stay with a higher gear.
If your building boost your going to have the torque you need to get moving and take advantage of the higher gears on highway use.
