what gears..456 o 410 ?
what would be the best gears for the truck....its a 402ci all bolted up..4l70 trans with a 4000k stall.....and some gas !!! what would be the best way to go gears wise !!?? right now its got 3.73's....the truck hardly moves only driven to track and back home...it rolls on the texas edition rims with stock tire...so what would i be looking at rpm wise.!! at the track it will have the 28 tall tire....so help me out guys

Depends on what's the max RPM you want to cross the line.Also the gas will raise the RPM's when your using it.
But since you have the 3.73's. I'd try it first. Sometimes if you go to a lower gear,traction can be an issue with the extra torque.I hope you have sticky tires & a good suspension setup.
And sometimes running a lower gear may actually slow the truck down because you get out of the (maximum torque range) powerband quicker.

My dad has 4.88s in his truck and it tops out at 86 mph ( it is a F-450) but if its a track runner I would say 4.10 I think that 4.56 would run out of gear so I say 4.10

ok i took it for a ride today....and with the 3.73's at 70mph with the 275/55/20 tires im at 2250-2350 rpm range !! what would it be with 4.10's 4.30's & 4.56's....is there a way we can find out ?>
