that would be 4th gear.

What tires did you use?

I went looked at the truck and this what i found. I didn't do any burnout be for my runs. So i would say i was turning that tire over at that speed.

I'd have to agree because the speed and rpm are spot on for accuracy. I think your fine, but you likely left one hell of a mark down that track.

Edit: a 4l80 in 4th with 4.10's and a 32" tire @ 4700 is 145.6mph. You should probably hit the hot box next time or get some slicks

he has a 4l60e and 29.22" tires i used a calculator and at 4700 it should be at 154, so maybe the tranny was slipping a little bit under high load?

I remember your fender being clean when you started, so i guess you did a 1/4 mile burnout through all four gears

OH sorry, I didn't catch the Coming Soon part and I didn't know his tire size so I was going ball park. same with the gears.

142.4mph for those specs. So 144 is still in there

4700 = 142.4
4800 = 145.4

Don't forget that BLACKGMC was kind enough to give us an MPH calculator in the stickies of the Drivetrain section

Sometimes your tires will pick up rubber off the track and sling it on your fender.
and how fast are you goin to shift from 3rd to 4th at WOT? I dont think your transmission would like that too well.

This is just my opinion... I bet you broke traction... Looking at your log your tires where spinning and you have a G80, at the speed you were at the G80 turns into a 1 wheel wonder...
