Upgrading to a 14bolt if you can afford the swap with LSD otherwise pull the factory diff and install TruTrac

Tru trac would be simple and easy if you like your gearing. I like mine.

Yeah, the trutrac replaces the G80 but if you are running slicks the stiock 10-bolt then becomes the weak link.

Non-sense poopy pants! If you run a TA cover, solid pinion spacer and a quality carrier (eaton, auburn etc) it should take him well into the 11's and maybe even into the 10's. THe 8.5 is stronger than most people lend credit too, and the 14bolt is overkill IMO.

Ratech sells a solid pinion spacer for $17 - http://ratech.stores.yahoo.net/noname1.html

Summit and Jeg's both sell the Tru-Trac for $409.99.

TA cover from Thunderracing is 154.99 - http://www.thunderracing.com/catalog...vid=9&pcid=210

I have the Jeg's diff. cover, and Auburn Pro Series posi unit in the 91 and it's taking countless abuse from me with the T56.
