Did you get the code after the converter install, I think I've heard of a relation between that code and aftermarket converters, but I'm not 100% sure...

Sorry this is in my 1999 silvy its a 4.3l with a i guess a 4l60e..

That code is
P1860 - TCC PWM Solenoid Circuit Electrical

This means theres and electrical issue open or short in the PWM solenoid or wiring.
I suggest changing the solenoid first.

Hi guys,

I have a 1998 suburban that has a p 1860 code. I've changed the solenoid and ignition switch and the code still comes on. The tyranny shop is trying to sell me a new tranny. Any help would be appreciated.
