Ive heard that if the Auburn Pro ever slips, it kindof goes crazy or something.. but thats just what ive heard... Heck if you want a really good Posi or Locker...Detroit Locker... haha try breaking that one, but it might break you. $$

install complete.....the truetrac is somewhat more agressive than i expected. much tighter than the factory g80. i am really not looking forward to it raining, i can fell it try to light the tires up when i take a turn. i am happy with the 4.10's though, pretty big difference from 3.73's. BTW the 3.73's and an open carrier are for sale. i am happy with everything so far.

I know you have already chosen the Eaton but since this seems to be a roll call at this point, I'll chime in.

I installed an Auburn Pro about 5k miles ago. It has worked flawlessly with the exception of one instance at the track last month. I was on my 4th or 5th pass, doing my quickie burnout...the driverside kicked out and stopped turning. I didn't feel it in the cab, but my brother was watching from the sideline and informed me. It worked normal on the next pass...fluke? I don't know. I'm running standard 80w90 gear oil with no friction modifier...maybe that is the cause. Will be changing the gear oil soon, add the friction modifier and see what happens.

I just put an Auburn Pro in my truck this weekend. Seems to be working great. I would have bought an Eaton or a Tru-Trac but I found this one on Ebay, brand new, $225 shipped.
