Default What rear gear and locker are you guys running with a 6L80?

Going to be throwing in some bigger gears here pretty soon to step up from the stock 3.42's and was curious to know what you guys are running gear wise and also what size TC in a 6l80 combo and any complaints, tips and experiences you've encountered in doing so? Thanks

Stick 3.73s and g80,as hard as it pulls now with stock torque converter, i wouldnt change gears abd if i decided to go with a higher stall, probably wouldnt be but about 5-600 rpm over stock at most... 23-2500 or so

I'm already running a circle d multidisc 3200. I was originally planning on going with 3.73 but lately been thinking I don't want to be disappointed just with one step up from 3.42's to 3.73 it pulls hard now but take off is still a little sluggish and was thinking 3.90 or 4.10 might be a better choice then 3.73 and take a little more load off the trans? I had a set of 4.56 from a previous project I sold but figured it would be to much gear and run out of 1st gear

I also went from 60e with a 3200 stall to 6l90 with 4.10s 30" tire and 3400 billet converter and i love it. Boost make my 3400 stall into a 4800 and it feels great.

FWIW, I did 4.10s and a TT on the Yukon (6.2 & 6L80). Its awesome. Mileage went from 12/18 to 13/17. There is plenty of 1st gear. It pulls nicely on the highway when I need to get passed a rolling road block.

At 70 mph I am at roughly 2063 RPM.
