Default What shocks with 2/4 Hotchkis drop on 2001 Silverado?

What shocks should I use? 2001 2wd, short bed, regular cab, 4.8L Silverado with 2 inch front and 4 inch rear Hotchkis drop springs. The tech guy at Hotchkis didn't have much to recommend except Bilstein, but had no part numbers. I guess the main issue will be shock travel. Although the stocks ones are not bottoming out, they are too soft. The truck is getting 255-55-18 Toyo Proxes ST on Centerline 18x8 Stingray III's. Also might be doing the Hotchkis sway bars. Front may also be coming down another inch. Are extenders needed on the bottom of the rear shocks to correct the angle or stroke or what? Belltech seems to push them. Others don't. Thanks in advance.

Hotchkis leaves have the pinion shims already installed.

I used Edelbrock shocks on mine and didn't need exteneders.

doetsch tech has some good drop shocks.

Front: pn 4080G (0-2" drop)
Rear: pn 4241G (2-4" drop including dearched leaf springs like the Hotchkis system)

hope this helps, I am running these with little (essentially none) drop and they handle great, not too stiff.

I've got Bilstiens front and back on mine. Don't remember the part numbers, but they are made for a 2" front and 4" rear drop. Rides very stiff, but I like it.
