Default What shocks to go along with a 2-4 drop?

Looking to get a 2-4 drop off summit this week, but just wondering what some good shocks to go with would be. Post up what you think.

I blew out my stock rear shocks 2 days after my 2-4. Do yourself a favor and spend $$ on shocks. Even if you keep stockers in front get really good shocks for the back.

I have a whole set of brand new Belltech Nitro drop 2s that are coming off in the spring and you can have them for 2 oatmeal raisin cookies and a large glass of milk. ..JUNK

A guy I know runs edelbrock shocks and he thinks they are unbeatable...?

I ran stockers with my drop for a year and Nitro-actives for a few months too. I really like the StreetPerformance shocks by Belltech, they make a world of difference.

I run the Edelbrock IAS shocks on all four corners. They do what they advertise and "sense" when to be soft or firm.

The only caveat is when you're driving hard and there's some soft, rolling undulations in the road. The shocks shift from being firm and responding to Cadillac-like plush. Not exactly confidence inspiring. On the other hand, they do help out the ride when just cruising along cause its not making the truck feel stiff all the time.

I've been tempted to try out the Belltech Street Performance but have been wanting to hear more about them and what they're like, ie performance shock or soft and cushy.
