Guys,
How do you figure out what size axles (28 spline?... 30 spline?) and what size rear end (8.5?)are on a 2000 Silverado Z71 (4x4) truck? It's the extended the cab w/3.73 gears...but don't see anything indicating the above in Haynes or owner manual...or on the rear end cover? A little help anyone?....

Its an 8.625 but can take the older model 8.5 ring gear. It has 30 spline axles. Its also a 10 bolt if you didnt know that.
