Default What size differential is a 97-99 Tahoe?

Asking because my rear diff is from a junkyard and has that written on the axle tubes and I would like to know of its different from a 2000 silverado. My spider gears are ate up and I'm looking for different gears and don't want to buy the wrong ones.

Thats a 8.5" 10 bolt. where a 2000 silverado is a 8.625" 10 bolt.. Spiders should work if thats all you need out of it..

That's why is asked cuz I figured it was an 8.5 vs 8.6. Good thing I asked before ordering gears and what not. Thanks man.
