Can you do a shackle/hanger combo for the 4" drop in the rear on a crewcab or do you have to use leafs? Ive been told the hangers are welded on so is that permanent or can i grind them off and use hangers?

I wouldnt worry with trying to swap hangers. It will be more trouble than it is worth. I got the leafs and I like them a lot. Same ride quality, no sacrifice in hauling capacity.

I guess the 2 best drops to buy then since you gotta swap leafs would be either:
1. Mcgaughys
2. Hotchkis
I wonder which would be better for ride quality and product quality?
