Default What Tires??

I'm getting ready to lower my truck 2/4 and also purchasing some 20x8.5 wheels and from im hearing the size to run is 275/45r20 but what brand of tire is good? I seen the general grappler, but are they a good tire? i wanted the BFG KDW or something like that but they dont make it in that size. any suggestions?

Thanks

IMO, you get what you pay for. I am sure the generals would work fine for your application. Everyone on here has had a bad experience with one brand or the other, so I would expect 20 differnt answers for this thread. I would get what fits your budget.

That's what I would recomend too.

Just stay away from GOODYEARS. They're heavy as hell and they handle terrible.

They do wear pretty good from my experience.

I have 275/40/20 Toyo Proxes on my truck and overall it is a good tire. They are expensive unless you can get a deal. I have had goodyears on my stock rims and they were okay, but I had wear problems. I could never get more than 15k out of them. I have 18k on the proxes and have a long way to go. i have been pretty easy on them.
