Default What tires do you run for those who have 20's and up???

I'm curious having been not on here much lately to see what guys are using on the 20" and up wheels. My job allows me to drve alot of stuff which helps in tire choice. I have had Hankook's on my truck since new and have really liked them. I was running a 275/45R20 because they were the closest size I could get to the 245/70R17 without going taller and still be 30mm wider. I have since switched to Nitto NT-05 315/35R20 for the rear and 275/40R20 for the front. Both are the same height. The 315's I had to order and should be in by tomorrow. I had no issue with the Hankooks at the track, but on the street they spin easy enough. I'm planning to up the power soon enough and want to run in the 12's on my street tires. I do have 17's for the track, but I also like to have a vehicle that works well on the street and track.

So, what are you guys running and are you happy with them?

IDK if you're looking for track or street use specifically, but I like the Nexens I have for my 20" Centerlines. They dont spin too much, but im also not making a lot of power. They seem to wear well for a directional tire. Ive had them for around 2 years now and only have rotated them twice I think. Size is 285/50, so they tend to wander a little bit when the roads are rough but nothing major. Used to have some Pirelli ATR 275/55s that were pretty nice too.

I have Toyo Proxies but I am AWD, oh and I can still get them to spin. I like them though.

I second this. I have them for 16" wheels but the tires are by far the best ones I have ever owned. Dont really know how they would do on the track though as I am afraid to do a burn out with them because of how much they cost

305/50/20s Cooper ZEON Ltz Measures out to be a 32. very wide, nice smooth tire, lots of traction. They are doing well behind the 4.88s, when she grabs hold on... But with the power of the engine, I can still roast them on demand still. I guess the 4000 stall should be factored in as well. Just comes down to a good driver, knowing your ride, when to back pedal the throttle and when to step IN to the floor on it... Good tires thats for sure.
