You could always try a tci flexplate. I think they run around 150. But me i would try my luck with a factory 60 plate. Dirt cheap and readily available. Ive read of fitment issues with the aftermarket ones. Theyd be stronger though and may save you having to pull the trans in event of another broken plate.

Well the factory plate lasted 8 years so I cant complain. 4-5 of those years under 500lb/ft of daily abuse.
I would try another 60E plate but I do have an 80E plate inbound, might even be here tomorrow. Will that not work?

I just did some reading of my old posts and I had to oval the holes on the 60E flex plate to get the converter bolt holes to line up. That normal? I remember it wasn't much, maybe 1/8".
Ok so where can I get a 60E plate asap?

I would just go to a local junkyard, 100% chance they would have one.

That's weird about having to oval the holes.

Got the flexplate out:

Now if I can just figure out what U-joint I'm supposed to be using I'd be on the road. Mine fell apart when I pulled the driveshaft. Nothing in a stock 1500 or 2500 truck fits. My custom driveshaft has 2 different sizes on the same U-joint...pain in the ****...big ends for the driveshaft and smaller on the diff. Stock size on the diff. Only thing I have to go on is a "331" stamped on the joint and E50 on the big ends. I think it's a Precision brand but O'Rileys was no help.
Grrrr

Its probably the 3RE stock joint to a 1350 or 1330. But i believe the 1330 it about the same size as a 3RE so probably a 1350.

I vaguely remember 1350 being said when I bought it. I think it’s this one. Gonna try NAPA tomorrow….
