Question What transmission is on the 2007 Tahoe/Avalanche?

Just curious, but does anyone know what transmission they are putting in the newly updated 2007 Tahoe/Avalanche trucks?

If it is the weak-*** 4L60e, I've suddenly lost all interest in those trucks

Thanks,
Tony

they're only having the 4L60e for the first year run. As of right now I dont thikn the 6L80e is available in the new tahoes/yukons. I know next years models WILL have them as an option, whether they will come standard or not I dont know.

the 6 speed auto is only available in the Escalade and Yukon Denali behind the 6.2L motor right now. Give it a year or so and the 6 speed will spread through the lineup, hopefully along with AFM and variable cam timing.
