Thanks for everyone's advice. Just to update this I ordered 29.0x10.5x15w stiff sidewall Hoosier slicks (18175d06). Hopefully I can get them to fit with minimal work. It actually has 11.0 tread width, and 13.2 section width on a 10" rim. Let's see if we can get this thing to make a good pass and dyno pulls this year!

^^^ ive tested MT slicks and Hoosier slicks a few years ago and the Hooisers swayed less on the top end ( 145 mph ) and lasted longer. My 60 foots were always low 1.3s between both tires.

What's your 60'? Also what shocks are you running? I was thinking of the double adjustable Strange shocks In the rear.

My best so far is 1.61, but im still learning how to launch this truck. I think the 1.61 was launching on 4psi.

I have adjustable Rancho's mounted vertically behind the axle. Cheap shocks up front with homemade shock extenders, so my suspension has full droop.

What's your wheel and backspace? Did you need to do any modifications for them to fit? The wheels I'm getting will be 15x10 with 6.62 BS. Just wondering what I am in for.

I have 15x10 Bogart Eliminators with 6.5" backspace, I believe.

My fender lips are rolled a little bit, but that was actually done for my street tires. The slicks are a tight fit, but no signs of rubbing. I also have a flip kit on my truck. How much is yours lowered?

I think it is lowered 2" from the factory as it is a Joe Gibbs edition. I also installed a 2" lowering hangar for the front of the spring. The center of the wheel well is at 32.5" off the floor on bald original 275/55/20 tires at 31.9" tall. When I install the 29.0" tall tires it should be about 31" tall at the wheel well.
