Question when should I upgrade?

So I have an 05 sierra 5.3L aluminum. I have exhaust and intake and I am getting headers and a tune soon.

My question is, when should I upgrade the tranny now? I hopefully plan on getting a magna charger installed in the future and know that ill need it then, but for now with the things I mentioned above doI need the upgrade?

I was looking at FLT's and their upgrade kits, which one would be best after the magnuson?

I chose the FLT level 5 4L65e but honestly, for peace of mind, the 4L80e would be a better choice although mine is holding up just fine I do worry some

The correct way to build up a hot rod is to get the drivetrain done first. Transmission, suspension and rearend. When that is done you can throw all the power you want to it and not worry. Most people, including myself do it assbackwards, all power and nothing to support it til it's too late.
