where is it ??
hi guys
i have a 2004 silverado with no tranny temp gauge, and i want to put one in .
do i have to weld a bung into the tranny pan or is there some place that it
plugs into. i haven't seen what one looks like right from the factory

you could add an aftermarket gauge but IMO... it would be much nicer (and more stock looking) just to add an escalade cluster since it has one in... no added anything in your tune... just plug it up and it works!!! and its dead accurate too.... the only way to go IMO... unless you just want all kinds of aftermarket gauges...

if you dont want to spend that much money there is a pressure port on the drivers side of your transmission that you can unscrew a plug from and buy a autometer trans gauge kit for like 50 bucks and screw the temp sender in there and you're done...heres a picture
