Yep that was the first time i actually hit it HARD out of the hole and man it felt good. All other runs i made i eased it out of the hole basically rolling into the throttle. I would have loved to see the 60ft but it was rather embrassing driving backwards. I did not want to stop

60 fts didnt do it, unless it was an ungodly low one lol, been low 1.4x with a small shot and 1.5x NA.

how much your truck weigh corey , 4450? still think it should have held up. dunno man, it does suck, maybe there was a flaw in the parts that broke, do you know foresure it was the output shaft? i would think the input shaft would break before out put shaft? no

Corey I can understand your out of pocket expense, with the problem I had with mine I will never order a built transmission again. When their is local builder that I could go shake my fist at if something goes wrong. When you & I and a friend all got a transmission around the same time & all of them fall in different ways. Someone has dropped the ball. With that being said..

My new pb is awesome & get pb to take care of the shipping.

Have you talked to pb yet? I've read alot of people love the way the 80e drives and shifts, and I've read some pick up mph at the track. I say go for it, it will be a good project.

Do the 80e and throw a turbo on it like you talked about before instead of big headers and intake

FWIW I had my 80e in before I installed the blower and It was a dog down low, once it got moving it was great but the loss of low end torque was definitely immenent. That was with just the longtubes, FIPK, and the converter. (258mm 3200 multidisk)

Since Cody helped me throw the blower on its not so bad. I'm still wanting more though.

This is in a CCSB.

Im with Cody on this one too. turbo/80e, then you should head down to Kyle see his new house and show us the new found power!
