Here's my take, with money as no object I would go with Rossler. They've been at it the longest and have the most experience with the 4l80. They don't rely on internet marketing/sponsorship to sell their product.

That being said, I'm perfectly happy with my Jake's 80. It was cheaper and it's supposedly built to take up to 1200 hp with billet parts, but I've only hit it without about half of that with no issues.

Learn to build it yourself.... Get a couple of manuals and some billet parts and just do it. That is what i did, it has almost been 2 or 3 (i forget) years since it was built.

If it breaks just rebuild it... I had never ever touched a trans before, except installing a shift kit in my 60e... It took me awhile but i did it and at a fraction of the cost...

This is what I want to do. Didn't you do a build thread on your 80e? If so I'll have to read it and get wrenching.

I've heard nothing but good things from Jakes. He claims to have a lot more man hours into an 80e than anyone else in the industry. I don't have any experience with him but wouldn't hesitate to. Smokeshow has told me nothing but good things about his 80e from Gilbert so he'd be worth talking to as well. BTW, there are a lot of good threads on this subject on yellow bullet.
