My transmission is still intact, but it only has 122 miles on it. So is there anything I can do to the trans to help beef it up without doing a total rebuild? At most this truck with have simple bolt ons, but will be used to tow stuff.

My 2001 RCSB 5.3 has 55,000 miles on it. It still runs like a champ! I romp on it every now and then but really dont rag my truck all that hard. Im still under warranty until 75,000 miles so i guess if im going to blow it, i need to do it before then. lol.
All i have is intake, full exhaust, tb spacer, and soon a nelson tune. Im planning to have as much torque management removed as possible. I guess i will be using my warranty if i do that though huh??
Would putting a set of billet or corvette servos in the tranny make a difference to its strength? What about a trans-go?

I'm new to the forum and in the process of swapping an LS1 into my '99 S-10 Zr2. From what I've been reading a lot of people have been blowing their trannys. Are these stock trannies you guys are talking about or what? I figured they would be fine. What are some suggestions to beef them up so you don't have any problems? Does a shift kit and TC cover it or what? Thanks

Mine has no first gear, no second, no reverse, probably nothing else either. My built 4l60e is sitting in my living room right now giving me the eye and my truck is sitting right in front of my door giving me the eye so I will probably be getting mine in this week.
