Who make BIG power with a 4L80 or T56??

You could use a gearvendor's overdrive for the th400 you have.

I Built T56 will hold IMO, but it is the clutch that people run into problems. I think with that much power youare going to see a lot of slip.

Textralia has a triple disc set-up out that should be able to handle it.

Good idea. The gearvendors are rated for over 2000hp and split the gears. It would turn your current setup into a 6 speed. You will pick up speed in the standing mile from the tighter gear spacing. I'd go that route unless you just want a T56.

the 4l80e has really good gearing for Highway. I do believe people said they are holding 2nd at WOT out to close to 80 with 4.10 gears. And close toe 28" tall tire.

I vote for keeping the TH400 and going with a gear vendors, that way you could keep your transbrake too. 6 foward speeds, 2 reverse speeds , with lightning fast shifts, a T brake and overdrive. Sounds like the perfect setup to me.

Yeah Rossler makes one now and I think you can still use the electronics but I'm not sure. Either way its big $$$
