My TC is from Performance Transmissions and Automotive in Louisianna, i think they use Midway for theirs. Mine is a 6-bolt (for 6.0 flexplate) 11.5inch Billet 1,600 RPM stall w/Carbon fiber Lock up clutch good for 1,000HP and I love it! The damn thing weights in at about 60lbs dry! It was about $750... I also got my 4L80e conversion from them and it is a beast... I can't post a link though because they are not a sponsor here...

Yelo, wait until you decide on FI or not. PI will make a converter with a custom turbo stator for you if you go that route -- allows the thing to spool up quickly and acts like a higher stall under big loads. Give Chuck at FLT at call for more details.

Yeah....I know. I've been going back and forth on the FI thing, I've got my heart set on the twins but the pricing is prohibitive right now for me. I'm definitely going to wait on the converter until I make up my mind one way or the other and at that point I'll probably have FLT go through the tranny for me (or, more than likely, just buy one from them) and pick the converter then...right now I'm just trying to weight my options and see what's available

Once you go FI (Turbo in my case), you never go back... I hate driving anything now with out a Turbo in it, just isn't the same...

I hope you never have a problem with that trans or you are certainly screwed.
Although you cannot post links to their site, you can post links to the Better Business Bureau's records on these people.

The BBB is friggin joke... The BBB is just a place for whiney people to go and feel like they make a dif in the world when they can't talk to a company like an adult to resolve an issue. LoL No company is perfect and neither are all customers...

I have had nothing but good dealings with PATC, they were highly informative when i was shopping and they gave me great support during the install... I have no complaints about them...

I have had my trans since November with out a single problem, i wish i could same the same from my buddy here in Orlando with a 4L80e he got from a more popular company but, I do not want to get in trouble for talking about a sponsor that i did not actualy buy anything from so, i will keep my mouth shut...

P.S. i think all of these trans companies have 6 month or shorter warrentys so, you are screwed anyway after that... Such is life most of the time in the performance parts world...
