i also have a lvl 7 FLT in my hoe. it took me two transmissions to relize i needed good parts. customer service is great. the trans shifts like no other i have ever felt. and yes i have riddin in a truck with a performabuilt. it was nice too but just didn't seem to feel like mine. one problem that seems to come from the lvl 7 is you will find the other week links. i have broke two axle shafts so far.

I've been a happy FLT customer for 3 years now and the only way I've been able to break it (prior to doing my own work) was when a speed shop dropped the engine and tranny from their cherry picker, and they didn't tell me and STILL put it in and I put 8K miles on it before I was told what happened.
FLT rebuilt it for me free minus the cost of shipping! FLT FTW!

The only good 60E is the one on the end of the chain holding the boat from drifting away!
What the hell were GM thinking putting a sedan trans in 2-3 tonnes of truck/SUV???
Get an 80E and be done with it.

at the track and when i need it i run almost 13psi its like 12.6 psi on the logs. daily i run 10psi. both axles broke during 7+psi launches. i have never felt a 4l60e shift the way this thing does even in boost. looking at my logs it shifts at almost the same rpm every time at wot. and it don't snap your neck when it does it.

not sure on power but i did run a 12.89 the way it sits. 20's, all the child seats, subs, and a tool box in back. i was shooting for a better 60ft when i busted the axle.
