Just wondering if anyone runs this converter and wondering how they like

I've driven it in a couple different h/c setups in trcks and Fbodys and it always works great! If its matched to your setup its a great choice. Acted a little different in every single vehicle though. FYI, weight, power level, gearing etc all play a big part in how it feels as you know.

Well my tranny is coming out to replace the front pump seal, so ifigured it might be a good time to swap out the TC. My current TC is loose but not very efficent up top.

maybe a little bit, I still have not had to add any in like 2 months... The wife just does not like it dripping on the garage floor....

this is just me but i think you would be happy with a 3C. i wouldn't go any higher than that on the street.

lol, and here i am thinking a 3c is too tight lol. im ready to step it up to a 4200 or so.

Well I think a 4C in my 4.8 would equal your 3C in your 5.3, my little 4.8 doesn't make the TQ like yours does... I spoke to chris @ circleD and he recommended the single disc 4C for my setup.

Ya, a friend of mine has the 3C and he wishes it was a 4C...

Make sure you change the rear main seal while the tranny's out.
