I know, i have driven that car a ton in college... Whenever mine would blow a motor (which was often) i would get to drive it .... Definatley a nice car but will need some restoring and some sheet metal replaced... but i am not going to do anything near what i did with mine... I want to keep it 80% orginal looking... they make TONS of aftermarket parts for that car and they are dirt cheap

Eventually replace the drivetrain with a high reving (7k+) LS series motor, probably carbed and distributor driven...

Im not much on mustangs or chrome but those bbs wheels are badass and its the right color. Ive never seen that style hood before but it looks badass. What kind of drivetrain? Ford tough with Chevy stuff?

Well for awhile, the drivetrain will just be the 289, which was rebuilt years ago, but still runs good... Probably update the ignition (setting points sucks), maybe some headers. honestly i am not sure a LS series will fit the engine bays on those old cars are not very wide due to the shock towers, unless i removed them and went with a Mustang II type front end...

the important thing to remember with this year car is that it weighs aroundat 3-3.4k fully dressed.... so it does not need alot of power to make it fast
