It is a tubeless tire afterall. I would only run a tube in it if you get a tire punctured, (been there) other than that just keep up with air press.

I am not sure about the ET's but on a real slick if you dont use a true rubber tube you are in for a hell of a ride. I tried this b/c I could not get a good seal at low pressure 10 to 12 lb and I went to the wall. I could not figure out why the hell my handling went south all of a sudden. Swapped a buddies slicks (no tube) and it was fixed. After doing my home work a synthetic rubber tube will not fill the slick fully when it expands (ie leaving the line) apparently the natural rubber will. I never found out for sure b/c I went and bought new wheels the next week as I have an aversion for walls at drag strips

well i'm running a 26x11.5 tire w/4.10's right now and they pretty much can't hang w/ the motor. sometimes it hooks and sometimes it doesn't. even with minimal spin or hooking, the truck is shifting out of 1st right pass the 60' mark. its also shifting to 3rd a ways before 1/8mi. when these are done i'm probably going with a 28x11.5 m/t drag radial or similar. going with a taller tire my bottom end should stay the same or better if i don't spin, and should pick up in the midrange and topend. for 4.56's i would have to say 28" tall tire but i'm no expert.
