Default Who's 4l80e to buy to last?

Well, It's time to upgrade in power for the ole turbhoe. But first I need to upgrade from the 60e. She has been good to me even though my yank converter has a bearing going bad for the second time. It whines like a supercharger not real pleased with that.

So it seems there are three brands I see used most. Jake's, finishline and rossler.
Jakes comes with a lot of good parts for a great price but finishline has done me good as a Customer. That beng said I want something that is going to last with towing and racing and an all around hard life. So which is it, which one would you buy and why. I think all of these guys are sponser. If not my bad ill redirect my question. .

Also can circle d make a converter that allows me to use my stock flexplate? If yes is it an extra cost?

Ace would get my vote for something street/strip/towing and an all around tough unit...

if I wanted one dedicated to just go down the track in a straight line, I'd be calling Rossler. I've had one of his transmissions and loved it.

I'm really surprised nobody has said finishline.

Well rossler and ace's website both suck for info so I guess I'll have to call them up. I wanted to get the tci 6x but there are so few reviews in that thing. Most say it would suck in theory. And on their web site forum I just read of controller issues. So I'm going to stick to the 80e.

Ace, obviously. Gilbert builds a beast of a transmission and is extraordinarily helpful

Every year seemingly new sponsors seem to pop up and I take their advertisements with a grain of salt. But that's just me. I'll take the word of people that have "been there, done that."
