The top 3 or the most popular with great results is ACE, Rossler or Jakes. I was just looking into building or having one done, these are the 3 that kept coming up on numerous boards.

I understand a junk yard 4l80e with a shift kit can go a long way. But after the 60e stuff I went through before I got my flt tans I don't want to deal with it again. I just want one that will go in and I can forget about. If its breakable my wife can break it. The lvl 7 60e has been out twice and the converter has a bearing going bad for the second time. The first time the lvl 7 broke was a fluke so to speak flt was trying something new and it didn't work so they fixed it. This last time my wife broke the "beast" sun shell.

That being said thank you guys for you comments. And for the guys just getting their new 80e's installed give me some feed back please. After you get a few miles on them.

Chuck has always treated me right. And I know they stay very busy so it's hard for them to get on here. I just want to make sure my money is going to buy the best product I can. Customer service is always a great thing to have but to be honest I would rather not have to call anybody after the install is done. .

Yea man. I sent him my trans after another sponsor failed to fix it under warranty. Gilbert found the issue and set it up great. I probably have 100+ 1/8 track passes on it and not a single issue. Literally put it in and forgot about it.
