Have you tried getting a little spin out of the slicks on the launch, by adjusting pressure. I know with drag radials you have to dead hook, but with slicks you can actually have a little wheelspin, or at least that's what I've read on the interwebs...

You say you were making less power when you cut the 1.74. Do you think it's possible your torque curve was shifted higher, making for a weaker launch?

I'm getting to much wheel spin lol.. I had to dead hook on drs to 1.7's. If it spun any I would cut 1.8's

Before I swapped cams I was at 381rwhp and cut 1.74's before I added leaf spring clamps to stop wheel hop. Then with new setup in sig, I removed spring clamp and put a bump stop inbetween overload and leafs and a helper spring on top of leafs, and I was back to cutting 1.7's again.

Ha, nevermind. I thought you were only dealing with a soggy launch and spinning the wheels in the tires. Looks like you have ALL the problems!

I would personally try bars in upper hole, just touching the springs and shocks loose, around 1-3. Lower powered car/trucks need more hit to the tires. If that doesn't work then buy some DR's.
